INDUCTWARM® units in action
Multifunctional counters with customised designs - various cover materials
The choice of the best possible cover material for a buffet with InductWarm® undercounter induction units is crucial for the functionality and longevity of the installation. When it comes to cover material, trust our experience as well as our material tests and use our online tool for reference - the Cover Material Assistant.
Cover material artificial stone
Surfaces made of artificial stone are user-friendly and have a particularly high-quality look. As a general rule, we do NOT recommend natural stone as a surface material for the InductWarm® 130+ system. Instead, various artificial stones are available. CAUTION: Even artificial stone as a covering material can expand when heated, which can lead to stress cracks. It is recommended to compensate for the expansion of the cover material with an immediate silicone joint (observe installation recommendation!).
Cover material glass
Glass gives your buffet furniture a noble look with a special shine and it is very easy to clean. Our recommendation is scratch-resistant safety glass with a thickness of 20 mm and rounded corners. The material can be coloured in practically any RAL colour. In addition, there is also the option of applying logos etc. We will be happy to assist you with the choice of glass and can provide you with a list of glass specifications on request.
Cover material wood
Buffet furniture made of wood is timeless and goes with any style of furnishing from classic elegant to rustic. The material radiates visual warmth and liveliness. The use of wood as a cover for the InductWarm® 130+ system is technically no problem. However, please NOTE: No painted, varnished or glued wood may be used, only oiled natural wood. Moisture and/or dryness can lead to cracks forming in the wood.
Note: Gastros will be happy to advise you on the choice of deck material, but is not liable for any damage to the deck material.
